Together with Greenbrothers, we founded the product and growers association Purple Pride in 1996, in which we have been working together in the field of cultivation ever since. With an annual harvest of more than 27 million kilos of aubergines, we are the largest aubergine growers association in Northwest Europe. Our growers work every day to grow the tastiest and best aubergines. We have a wide range of special varieties and invest in sustainable cultivation. Growers United
Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines is a member of Coöperatie Growers United U.A., which is responsible for the entire sales and marketing of the product.
Growers United is a cooperative of and for fruit vegetable growers. With 4 product groups, more than 40 family businesses, almost 700 hectares of greenhouses and a turnover of more than 500 million euros, Growers United is one of the larger players in the cultivation, packaging and sale of greenhouse vegetables in Europe. In addition to sales and marketing, Growers United assists its growers with, for example, quality assurance, food safety certification and making cultivation more sustainable.
