Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines is a leading company growing eggplants with a focus on the Northwest European market. Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines was created from a merger between two family businesses, each with more than 60 years of experience. The organization is professional, efficient and flexible. The company has a strong financial foundation and is led by strong management, with the board of directors consisting of family members from two families. The company works with various parties in the chain to be stronger together and has a prominent role within Growers United and Purple Pride.

Van Duijn De Jong does not want to hide from the current energy transition and is constantly looking for better alternative energy sources. We have demonstrated this in the past with the participation in Duurzame Energie Sirjansland and the participation in WarmCo. Currently, Van Duijn De Jong is also prominent in the OSIRIS project, which ensures that the Steenbergen and Dinteloord locations will also have an alternative and sustainable energy source by 2026.
